4-year-old Pearland girl battling a rare cancer needs our help (Feb 8)

Cancer is never a diagnosis that is easy to deal with, especially for a child. Nova, 4, is a warrior from Pearland battling cancer.

Nova has a rare and invasive brain cancer called Pineoblastoma.  Her diagnosis came in August 2019.  She has already undergone 2 brain surgeries, 3 minor surgeries.  30 treatments of proton radiation and began chemo treatments the day after Christmas.

Little Nova is a happy child with a bright smile.  “Crazy hair don’t care,” she said while giggling after her first chemo treatment.

And, so far Nova is winning in life, but she will need a little help to win this battle.

 

 Family and friends are reaching out to the Pearland community and asking for help in raising money for Nova’s care.

A benefit called ‘Super Nova Fundraiser‘ will be held on February 8 at 11:00 am at the Knights of Columbus, 2320 Hatfield Road.

 

 

 

There is also a Go Fund Me and Paypal account set up to assist the family.
