2-year-old Labrador Retriever may be euthanized March 1st unless adopted (video)

MARCH 1 UPDATE:  GREAT NEWS!  This handsome boy has a new lease on life!

A rescue group will pick him up on Thursday🎉.

However, please do not give up on him!  He still needs a family and is still available for adoption until Wednesday…adoptions trump rescue..

This pup needs your help!

With no luck and the shelter becoming full, this labrador retriever has been moved to urgent as his euthanasia date approaches. Unfortunately, he may be euthanized on March 1st unless he is adopted or a foster picks him up.

For an application to meet this cute canine, please message the Harris County Animal Shelter Facebook page, or visit the shelter at:

This pup isn’t the only dog that’s at risk of being euthanized. There are so many unwanted pets that the shelter simply can’t keep up. They are good people trying their best to find animals’ homes but unless the community steps up, there is no other choice. This is a reminder to have your pets spayed or neutered. Foster unwanted animals and donate your time and money to help keep shelters operational.

Check out these other cuties that need a home in a really bad way. Here’s how to adopt any of these homeless pets.
