A terrified dog, described as a Cairn Terrier mix is down on his luck. Lucas was surrendered to the Harris County Animal Shelter by his owner on March 9 and he is urgently in need of rescue or adoption.
The dog, who is only one-years-old, “must find exit” by March 12 (Thursday) by close of the business day.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Facebook page “Harris County Animal Shelter Pets In Need,” said, “Lucas is a handsome male who was an owner surrender, come and meet this boy. He just makes us all smile.”

This pup isn’t the only dog that’s at risk of being euthanized. There are so many unwanted pets that the shelter simply can’t keep up.
