Texas Equusearch Joins Search For Missing 2-Year-Old

Texas Equusearch has joined the search for a 2-year-old girl reported missing from the west side of Houston since Saturday morning.

 Maliyah (Tootie) Bass was last seen around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday in the area of Beechnut Blvd. and Wilcrest, according to Texas Equusearch.

Maliyah is described as a black female weighing 38 to 40 pounds and standing 3′ tall with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a multi-colored shire and multi-colored shorts. Maliyah was carrying a pink & white pillowcase with letter blocks inside.

The child’s mother said she went inside an apartment for a few minutes while the child was playing outside in the park. When the mother returned, the child was missing.
