Friendswood Police Looking For Suspects In Shooting Incident That Left A Man Seriously Injured

Friendswood Police are investigating a shooting incident in the 3100 block of FM 528/near W. Bay Area Blvd.  A 26-year-old male victim was shot at close range multiple times on December 29th at 9:22 p.m. as he sat inside a vehicle in front of a restaurant. The victim was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance.  The victim’s injuries are serious, and he was undergoing surgery at the last medical update.

Two black male suspects, one armed with a long gun and the other with a handgun, shot the victim multiple times through the closed window of a rental vehicle. The suspects fled the scene on foot and were observed by witnesses getting into a vehicle parked on W. Bay Area Blvd.  Witnesses provided suspect and suspect vehicle descriptions at the scene and investigators are actively following up on those leads.

The investigation thus far does indicate this shooting is linked to recent shooting incidents in the mid- Galveston County area.
